The Kuwait yacht show is a solid fixture on the calendar of the region’s annual boat shows, returns for 2018 with an international edition. With 5 successful editions under it’s belt, KYS has seen a growth that is unmatched in the region, an exhibitor and brand base that has more than tripled, a venue size that is growing due to the high demand and purchasing power of Kuwait. This is greatly shown in its command of 42% of the total registered marine vessels in the GCC. A private initiative of PH7 Events, it has nonetheless secured enthusiastic support from the states Ministry of Commerce and industry – a sure sign of the value Kuwait places on the marine economy, and an official acknowledgment of the value this now well established yacht show has imbued on the international image of the nation
