The First Exclusive Boaters’ Event at Ayia Napa Marina
Creating and nurturing a thriving community of boat owners in Cyprus brings a wealth of benefits, enhancing social connectivity and driving economic and social growth in the region. This vibrant interaction among members fosters strong bonds and a sense of belonging. Additionally, it significantly boosts the local economy, as the increased demand for products and services translates into higher revenues for local businesses and the creation of new job opportunities.
Cyprus, with its stunning coastline and warm hospitality, is an ideal destination for boat owners. A flourishing community draws tourists from around the globe, strengthening the tourism industry and establishing the island as a premier maritime destination. Furthermore, it motivates local authorities and private enterprises to invest in the enhancement and upgrading of maritime infrastructure, offering superior services and facilities. This initiative not only ensures the sustainable development of maritime tourism but also improves the quality of life for community members.
In this vein, on Friday, June 14, Ayia Napa Marina hosted its inaugural Exclusive Boaters’ Event, a prestigious gathering for boat owners and crew members of boats docked at the Marina during the current season. Held at Le Sundeck Robuchon, the event welcomed 115 distinguished guests, including the Marina staff.
The primary goal of the event was to foster a sense of community among boat owners and Marina staff, providing a platform for discussing the latest developments in maritime activities and facilitating valuable networking opportunities. Guests had the chance to form new acquaintances and exchange experiences in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Guests enjoyed an exquisite selection of finger foods prepared by Michalis Tsourapas, Sous Chef of Le Deli Robuchon restaurant. The chef’s culinary masterpieces were complemented by an array of signature cocktails, creating a memorable dining experience.
As a token of appreciation, each guest received a commemorative gift—an engraved compass from Ayia Napa Marina. This symbol of direction and unity reflects the strong bond shared by the community of boat owners who dock at the Marina. The evening’s ambiance was further enhanced by DJ Maddog’s music, creating an unforgettable setting that delighted participants and garnered unanimous praise, affirming the event’s success.
In recognition of this success, Ayia Napa Marina has committed to making this event an annual tradition, celebrating the esteemed community of boat owners.
