Jonathan Quinn Barnett designed the Lloyd Class custom fibreglass Crescent 145′ that will be launched before the end of the year and owned by US based client. A Crescent 110′ vessel with designs from Luiz de Basto is also underway, and is also being built for an American owner. Design projects at the yard include a Crescent 155′ which is reportedly in the early design phase with clients, in addition to a 115′ hull with a Jonathan Quinn Barnett adventure yacht design.

Tim Charles, the grandson of Crescent’s original founder, Jack Charles, recently acquired the company. He states: “I saw an opportunity to bring Crescent Custom Yachts back to life by utilising the capabilities of our exceptional craftsmen. Crescent is a collaboration of the talents of these people and others who have worked at some of British Colombia’s best shipbuilders such as Rayburn Yachts, McQueen Yachts, Richmond Yachts, Queenship, and West Bay Yachts. We are fortunate to have the best craftsmen available in the Pacific Northwest and it will show in our projects.”
