CMC Marine at METSTRADE in Amsterdam

Global leader in yacht stabilization and control technologies CMC Marine is taking part in this year’s METSTRADE in Amsterdam, the top international event dedicated to marine equipment. At the fair, the stabilization market leader in Italy and a supplier to the world’s top shipyards – with companies based in the UK and the United States – will be showcasing the company’s innovative solutions that not only target stability and comfort on the water but also pursue sustainability and energy efficiency.

The signature products on show include the TP75EA electric thruster and the revolutionary L250 stabilizer, the largest electric stabilizer fin available on the market the today.

The TP range in the Dualis Electra series is a state-of-the-art solution for the electric thruster market, designed to satisfy demand for ultra-compact propulsion systems that are quieter and more powerful thanks to the introduction by CMC Marine of a new series of counter-rotating propellers, with a focus as always on on-board comfort. Designed to deliver a high thrust-to-power ratio in a compact package, the TP75EA uses a new generation of high-efficiency motors that significantly reduce the weight and volume of the system as a whole, without affecting performance.

Also on show at METSTRADE alongside the thrusters, the new LR250 is the largest electric stabilizer fin currently available on the market, designed to deliver superior comfort on super and megayachts. With consolidated expertise in fully electric stabilization systems such as Stabilis Electra and Waveless STAB, more than 2,500 systems installed worldwide and an ongoing investment programme in research and development worth €10 million, CMC Marine continues to innovate to reduce the environmental impact of its products and improve fuel efficiency.

“It’s important for CMC Marine to have a presence at METSTRADE, which is a key opportunity to engage with the international market and showcase our innovations,” said Sam Crockford, Managing Director of CMC Marine UK. “The Dutch pocket superyacht market in particular is reporting excellent performance at the moment and demand is rising. In this scenario, we are proud to say that our systems are installed on 66% of the 30- to 40-metre yachts under construction in the country. This is an excellent result, not least because our first order on the Dutch market from the Moonen shipyard was as recent as 2018.”

CMC Marine will be at METSTRADE from November 19 to 21, stand 10.416 in the Superyacht Pavilion
