Anchor Windlasses
Anchors Away!!! Or maybe not?
Since many Marinas have their own mooring systems which do not involve your own, this is a perfect opportunity to thoroughly check your anchors and windlasses while stable and safe. Wear and tear and potentially faulty mechanisms on these can be dangerous at sea to all aboard and at the very least be responsible for expensive damage later on. Repairs to your anchor or windlasses should never be postponed. Just get it done!
