Water Treatment Technologies
Regulations have become stringent concerning waste water disposal at sea; as a result huge research has gone into Water Treatment Technologies. It is demanded that sewage water should be treated to high levels before being expelled into the sea. This is naturally for environmental reasons, to protect marine life. Many Water Treatment systems allow for the re-use of the treated water, for example in toilet flushing.
