Perini Navi prepares to launch the new sailing yacht!
The 38m hull C.2130 is currently under construction at Perini Navi in Italy. The shipyard has finishe
d her mast stepping and is now preparing the launch of the vessel. Her 51,40-metre carbon fibre mast is combined with a 14m furling boom and composite standing rigging for a sail plan surface area of more than 1,870 square metres. Designed for fast and easy sailing, the yacht is constructed entirely of Sealium aluminium alloy.
She will be christened Dahlak at her launch on Saturday 5th March in La Spenza. The yacht boasts striking lines by Philippe Briand and was named after the Red Sea archipelago where her owner spent his childhood sailing throughout the spectacular area.
Dahlak also features a number of technical innovations that show Perini Navi’s commitment to offering owners the latest in technology that boosts performance, sail handling and onboard comfort, including electric captive winches engineered in-house and a Lithium polymer battery system for silent running.
