The 180m Azzam in Abu Dhabi, UAE!
The 180m Azzam, the largest superyacht in the world, is currently moored at Khalifa Port in the Persian Gulf.
Khalifa Port is Abu Dhabi Ports’ flagship, which accommodates the largest vessels in the world. Also it handles all of the emirate’s container traffic.
Motor yacht Azzam is believed to be built for Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is the President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Abu Dhabi. She was delivered by Lurssen after a particularly short build time of just three years and, despite her vast size, Azzam is still capable of reaching speeds of up to 30 knots. Nauta Design is responsible for the exterior, whilst Christophe Leoni styled her interior.
Now back in the Emirates, Azzam was spotted in the Mediterranean earlier this year, where she was drawing quite a bit of attention while docked in Tarragona, Spain.
