The A group unveils their new 85m mega yacht A470 project!
The A Group is proud to introduce a new yacht concept called A470 that completely changes the typical superyacht layout.
85 m mega yacht’s concept seeks to solve a problem seen on many of the largest superyachts, such as multiple
saloons and dining areas , which are rarely used.
As pointed out by some of the studio’s clients, superyacht layouts are often overly complex and repetitive, with too many spaces that aren’t put too good use. With the A470 yacht concept, The A group has tried to rationalize the interior arrangement. For instance, there is only one dining area but with an original interior/exterior layout, and only one salon but with generous volumes and remarkable ceiling height.
The proposed general arrangements of the five-deck A470 superyacht concept include vast owners’ and guests’ cabins, a large indoor cinema, a comfortable gym/spa area. The outdoor spaces will also benefit from this novel approach to layout design with huge spaces to unwind on the sun deck with a pool, jacuzzi and bar, or at the large beach terrace aft.
The A470 concept includes a striking “glass shark fin”, pure lines, as well as simplicity.
The A Group has penned the exterior lines and designed the interior for the 135 metre Fincantieri superyacht Project Atom, which is currently for sale.
