This weekend, from October 4 to 6, Split, Croatia will become the center of yachting, thanks to the first edition of the CROYA Yacht Charter Show, a charter show where the most prestigious yachts available for charter in Croatia will be showcased. Around 200 charter brokers from around the world have registered to attend the event, where they will personally explore a fleet of luxury motor yachts, motor sailers, sailboats and catamarans, ranging from 20 to 55 meters in length.
In addition to more than 40 luxury yachts, visitors will also enjoy a program of educational seminars on the most beautiful sailing routes, as well as an entertainment program featuring chefs and crew members in the spotlight. During the event, a chefs’ competition will take place, challenging participants to present an innovative approach to Croatian cuisine. This will be organized by Michelin-trained chef Mike Jennings, who will also serve on the panel of judges, joined by chef Ino Kuvačić, a cookbook author, and Ante Toni Bjelančić, a beloved Croatian chef known among celebrities.
A second competition will also be held during the CROYA Charter Show – the CYBA Designer Water Competition – which aims to raise awareness about ‘going green to save the blue.’ This competition, organized in collaboration with the Charter Yacht Broker Association (CYBA) from the USA, will challenge the crew to prepare health-enhancing and delicious drinking water, highlighting the excellent cooperation and support between CRO.Y.A and CYBA organizations.
